what you see, is what you get at BlessedNest

You may have heard the latest regarding "bad organic labels" on body care products. If not, visit Whole Foods and see what all the talk is about. Basically, some companies are labeling their products organic and they're not, well organic. It doesn't stop here. Green washing is the new-bad. If you're not familiar with the term "green washing" well here is the Wikipeida definition...
"Greenwashing (green whitewash) is the practice of companies disingenuously spinning their products and policies as environmentally friendly, such as by presenting cost cuts as reductions in use of resources.[1] It is a deceptive use of green PR or green marketing. The term green sheen has similarly been used to describe organizations that attempt to show that they are adopting practices beneficial to the environment"
Greenwashing is bad...but it happens in our industry as well. Be careful what you are purchasing when an item reads organic.
