Heather and Shannon are friends in real life and I hope to have the honor and joy of meeting her one day too! I've enjoyed Shannon's blog for years.
Shannon has taken a bit of a break from regular blogging, but it's not hard to spend hours laughing and crying through her archives (we've both done it!). When my dad was alive I would make him a funny card and the gift would be a trip to the movies with me!!
For my husband, I always remind him what a great daddy he is!
On Father's Day my husband gets to choose what we do and where we eat. Knowing him, we'll likely be going to the best Fish and Chips shop in the US, so I'm not complaining :)

Thankfully I still have my dad. We're Chicagoans, so he is going to be the recipient of a Ozzie Guillen bobble head and brunch at the Kit Kat Lounge where there are phenomenal female impersonators! At 79, we're trying to keep things spiced it up for dad - mom thinks its a hoot!

My husband has his special day all planned. He's taking both grandsons to Arlington Park for the very first time to watch the horse races. I may tag along to help with potty breaks LOL

On Father's Day, I will let my husband sleep in AND make him a decadent breakfast, something he doesn't get on a regular basis :) And something he appreciates hugely.
My hubby gets to spend as much time with his family, I mean, with his motorcycle as he wishes on Father's Day. Really, all day if he wants =) He loves to tinker! (Is that a PC motorcycle-wife kinda word?)

My husband is amazing, and his top priority is making sure that we are all happy and well- especially with baby number three on the way. The plan is to take the day to do all of his favorite things, and make all of his favorite things to let him know how much we all love him.
