drunk on blackberries and mom-love What better day to introduce to you our new seamstress, Lilly?  In preparation for the 4th of July, I've been reading this liitle gem to the girls. Our freedom, the history of how our freedom came about is truly beautiful. Heather and I are so proud that Blessed Nest products are made in the USA by women (and men, this story coming soon!) We are thrilled to have Lilly join our Blessed Nest family.

So, go ahead and pinch us! This must be a wonderful dream? Heather and I have been friends for over 20 years, the Nesting Pillow came to be because I needed a Nesting Pillow that worked and now we work with wonderful women who nurture us through their amazing service to our Blessed Nest family!

Heather and I have a hard time calling what we do work. As you know, " We nurture Mothers so they can nurture their babies with peace of mind." We love you and we love what we do! Thank you Lilly for adding such joy to our family!

 Happy 4th Of July ~Let freedom ring

On the road again...

As most of you know, I ( Donna) work from my home office..ha Home office. Well, you may picture a delightfully decorated office; one with papers filed just so. Sorry, let me give you a dose of reality. I am a home school mom. We currently live in beautiful, sunny southern California in a small ( cozy) condo. I do not have a separate office...thank goodness we are pretty much paper less. GO GREEN! So files are kept on my trusty lap top.

Heather has the gift of making things work. Making the most of a situation. She did design the first Nesting Pillow for me over 7 years ago. A "fix" to a big hole in the market and well a "fix" for her best friend (me) which made my breastfeeding days delightful. Oh, back to organization in the sales studio

(or lack of). On my birthday this year, Heather gave me a office on the go! Another fix for my oh so busy, full, but yes, delightful life.

At least once a week, I get to take my show on the road. I go to a cozy coffee shop and "do business". A time where all is quiet and I can focus, re- group.... take in life a bit without my little,lovely assistances around. Don't get me wrong, I live a full life which suites me just fine. No complaints here!

Posh Mama~Support & community for women

Posh Mama is a hip hang out for Haute Mama's! Posh mama's is a  exclusive community for women from all walks of life, all around he world! You don't have to be a Mama to be a Posh Mama!

I love that Holly and the other ladies over at Posh Mama's have created such a fun community. They are so supportive. Blessed Nest Neighbor~ Anthony's Beehive

As you may know by now, we moved our production ( including Heather) to Lawrence,KS last year. Heather is loving it there and I get to visit every now and again! Lawrence is really wonderful. It's a lot country and enough city to make it just perfect. We are discovering more and more amazing businesses  located in and around this area daily. We are taking a day each week here on the perch to highlight the beauty in our own backyard.

Anthony's Beehive has over 200 hives located in Douglas, Franklin, and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas. What makes this business unique is that Anthony was born with developmental disabilities.

Heather and I love a good story. It was a child's dream which started Anthony's Beehive.com and parents who believed in his dream!
