A month of Thankfulness and giving~ a giveaway

This giveaway is closed winner will be announced tonight!

Heather and I love this month. We are so thankful for many things in our lives but as we reflect, we have decided to celebrate the women we are thankful for; the women who have made us who we are today by helping to mold our characters and giving us unconditional love. I can say that of Heather and so many others.

Who are you thankful for? What woman in your life has given to you unconditionally?

To celebrate YOU, all the women we are thankful for, we are giving away wonderful woman-made products! We will have inspiring interviews with the most amazing, encouraging women.

and...

We will begin our giving with 3 special women, and 4 special gifts!

Let the giving begin!

ONE~ The International Princess Project~ PUNJAMMIES™

I was introduced to The International Princess Project via a friend on FaceBook. I was so intrigued and in awe of what they accomplish and how, I wanted to make sure that you met them too!

I will post a interview with the women of International Princess Project this month but here is a little something about them.....

"International Princess Project advocates for women enslaved in prostitution, helping them restore their lives and empowering them to live free.

Through various initiatives, International Princess Project both helps partner organizations increase capacity and provides direct support for women in need."

International Princess™ Project Initiatives

International Princess™ Project currently implements two initiatives working towards the vision of restoring hope and dignity to women formerly enslaved in prostitution. The PUNJAMMIES™ initiative creates a self-sustaining enterprise which provides needed jobs for women and the resources for their healing and restoration. The Advocacy initiative raises awareness in the United States of the problem of prostitution and human trafficking around the world and helps mobilize people to take action.

My Mom is my inspiration. She was intentional about living her legacy, when she left this world, at only 65 I realized what an impact she had on so many. Her life showed me that whether we realize it or not, the way we live today is the legacy we leave tomorrow. Now I'm intentional about living my legacy, one day at a time.

At this moment the most inspirational woman in my life is my best friend. She just lost her precious son at only 21 weeks of gestation. She has handled the entire situation with so much grace and courage. I only wish a had a tiny bit of the inner strength that she possesses.

The IPP is amazing. The work that they are doing to support women enslaved by prostitution is inspirational. They not only are working with the women but are raising awareness locally which will hopefully spur farther projects in America. Women are not only being trapped in prostitution in third world countries, it is happening in your own backyard!

I love that you can host a PUNJAMMIE party to raise money for this cause.

I love that the Blessed Nest items are made locally from organic material and shipped in biodegradable packaging. It is refreshing to see a company looking at the entire picture. Not just one small portion of it.

I love that My Precious Kid offers so many great products. I especially love the velcro ID bands.

My mother is an inspiration. The mother of 7 who always had time for us all & saw us all as very unique individuals.

International Princess Project: the first thing I read was Advocating for women enslaved in prostitution. Right from the get go a powerful message. I was inspired to read on.

One of my older sisters is my inspiration. She's a NYC police officer and have 3 children. She always finds a way to rise above a problem: stronger, smarter, wiser and more beautiful than before. She is one that taught me about the strength of a woman and despite our circumstances, we can define who ourselves and not allow our circumstances to define us.

Whoa! Amazing.. International Princess Project has set out for an awesome and powerful task that will continue to grow in women for many, many years.. to empower women that once didn't have a voice and was taught the best part of them is to be used up by someone else to see themselves as the princesses that they are.

I love their tag line.. Wear PUNJAMMIES. Wear hope
Wow!

I know it is the cliched answer, but my mom is the most inspirational woman I know. She raised seven kids!

I am awed by the mission of the International Princess Project! The one woman who most inspires me would be my sister. She is the chief of police of a mid-size California town. She was driven to police work after being the victim of a crime. Her mission is to lower crime by working within the community to draw those most in need to help the community. She is amazing and is impacting the world in a big way!

My best friend of 37 years is a truly generous woman with an infinite understanding of human nature. She sees everyone and every situation in its best possible light. Her heart is always filled with hope and with love for her fellow man. I am blessed to call her my friend. The pajamas, if I were to win them, are for her; they are just what she likes best. Thank you for a lovely giveaway.

Right now I would have to say the most inspirational woman I know is a lady I have met through church. She is alway so giving and sweet to everyone and she heads up a charitable organization that helps provide food and shelter for children in Africa. Every year she holds a craft boutique, all of the items gathered through donations, and every penny goes straight to the children! Nobody gets paid, she and her committee do everything!

My mother is my inspiration. Her entire life she was a fabulously beautiful woman. After giving birth to my brother, she almost died and in the process became the victim of a rare health syndrome. This caused her to slowly gain over 300 pounds. Diets don't help, it is just something she has had to live with. But in that time, she has found the true meaning of value and self worth. She has truly learned who she is. She has maintained her beauty, and it has grown, just deeper than any can imagine. She has taught me and instilled in me that beauty is who you are, not just what your physical self looks like. She truly is beautiful and inspiring!!

My mom. She goes above and beyond taking care of not only me, but my husband and child as well. She's always looking for ways to show she cares and looks out for our family's well-being. She's a great mom and woman.

My mother was the most inspirational person in my life. She was empathetic to all people and very giving and she taught me to be selfless instead of selfish. She also taught me to be true to my convictions and my dreams.

I visited the The Princess Project and learned that they restore hope and dignity to women formerly enslaved in prostitution. by establishing self-sustaining enterprises in partnership with indigenous organizations that provide for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.

I like that Blessed Nest's mission is to nurture moms so they can nurture babies with peace of mind.

I like that My Precious Kid has WEARABLE ID Bracelets.
